INTERSTATE | INTRODUCTION
Drawing inspiration from the typeface's origins and uses, this project attempt to capture the essence of Interstate through a series of six, visually cohesive typographic blocks and accompanying poster. This project required two-dimensional designs that could then successfully communicate characteristics of the typeface across the three-dimensional application of blocks. The final designs emphasized the letterforms of the typeface by playing off its historic relationship with highway signage and navigation.
